Located a few blocks from the Pier, the Santa Monica City Hall is surrounded by a series of gardens, including a large rose garden. The City Council is stationed at the building, as well as the City Attorney, Clerk and Manager, the Santa Monica Police Department, Public Works, Rent Control Board, Planning & Community Development Department, Housing and Economic Development Department, Community & Cultural Services Department, Finance Department, Information Systems Department, and the offices of Big Blue Bus.
